As someone who grew up in Chesterfield Township and attended school here, I was proud to enroll my three, beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn, Lauren, and Molly. Kaitlyn attends Anchor Bay Middle School North, Lauren and Molly are enjoying their time as students at Great Oaks Elementary School.  My wife, Carrianne, and I are delighted to know our daughters attend such a great district with passionate teachers and staff. 

I love my community and I love this district, and I have always wanted to give back and serve in any way I can.

Like most school districts in Michigan, declining enrollment is a concern for our district. As well as serving the needs of economically disadvantaged students who don’t receive the same support at home.

Charter schools and the political economic policymaking coming from Lansing and Washington D.C. have gutted funding for education and left many districts, including ours, to make hard decisions.

Anchor Bay, without a doubt, has all of the tools necessary to be great. Passionate teachers, dedicated support staff, motivated students, and community that believes in education and recognizes its importance.
